GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL – notifies to your community members about new achievements, steps, points awards, points deductions, ranks and/or rank requirements completion using the BuddyPress Notifications component.
GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Overview:
- BuddyPress Notifications notifies to your community members about new achievements, steps, points awards, points deductions, ranks and/or rank requirements completion using the BuddyPress Notifications component.
- You are able to configure the notifications patterns with dynamic tags to show, for example, the member name to make the notifications more personalized.
- In addition, the add-on includes general settings and setting by type to configure or disabled notifications in the way you wish (disable all ranks notifications, personalize notifications of a specific type, etc).
This add-on DOES NOT require the GamiPress – Notifications add-on.
This add-on is completely independent and can work without our Notifications add-on.
GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Features

GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Getting Started
GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL notifies to your community members about new achievements, steps, points awards, points deductions, ranks and/or rank requirements completion using the BuddyPress Notifications component.
It’s workflow is completely automatic, and will add the notifications automatically to BuddyPress at the moment your users earns something. The unique requisite is to configure the notifications you want to display and the content you wish for each element notification.
This add-on comes with 2 levels of settings to let you configure the notifications:
- General settings: That lets you configure or disable the notifications of all elements.
- Settings by type: Available on each type edit screen where you can configure or disable the notifications by type (points, achievements or rank types).
Note: This add-on DOES NOT requires the GamiPress – Notifications add-on.
This add-on is completely independent and can work without our Notifications add-on.
GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Settings
You will find the GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL settings on your WordPress admin area navigating to the GamiPress menu -> Settings -> Add-ons tab.
GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Content tags
Tags allows you to place dynamic text to personalize the notification content in the way you wish. The add-on comes with different tags to place information about the user (first and last names and included the user ID for shortcodes) and about the element earned (title, link, thumbnail, etc).

GamiPress BuddyPress Notifications GPL Settings by type
On each type edit screen (achievement type, points type and rank type) you will find settings to override the BuddyPress Notifications general settings and configure or disable the notifications for this type only.
You will find the box “BuddyPress Notifications” on each type edit screen like this one:
- On achievement types: You are able to configure or disable notifications for achievements or steps for achievements of this type.
- On points types: You are able to configure or disable notifications for points awards and deducts of this type.
- On rank types: You are able to configure or disable notifications for ranks or requirements for ranks of this type.
